About The Panchakarma

Panchakarma is a specialized branch of Ayurveda focused on detoxification, purification, and rejuvenation of the body and mind. It involves five primary therapeutic procedures—Vamana (emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (enema), Nasya (nasal therapy), and Raktamokshana (bloodletting)—designed to eliminate accumulated toxins (ama) and restore balance among the doshas. Panchakarma aims to cleanse the body internally, strengthen immunity, and promote overall health and longevity.

In a clinical setup, the Panchakarma department is equipped with dedicated therapy rooms, herbal medicines, and trained Ayurvedic therapists. The process begins with preparatory procedures (Purvakarma), followed by the main detoxification therapies, and concludes with Rasayana (rejuvenation) treatments to restore vitality. The department offers personalized treatment plans tailored to individual constitution (Prakriti), health conditions, and seasonal needs. Regular Panchakarma therapies not only help in managing chronic illnesses but also enhance mental clarity, vitality, and skin health, contributing to holistic well-being.
